Biblio-Mat: Random Book Dispenser

What a lovely idea…the world is a fine place.

“the volumes distributed by the vending machine all cost two canadian dollars regardless of their size or subject.  the ‘biblio-mat’ vibrates and whirrs upon a purchase, setting the contraption in motion.  to add to the fun and surprise of it all, the ring of an old telephone is prompted as the customer’s mystery title is released into the receptacle with a satisfying clunk.”

Built by Craig Small for Monkey’s Paw, an antiquarian bookshop in Toronto.
